Monitor problems with Asus ZenBook Prime Touch

Hi!

I am just new here. I would like to ask few things about this laptop. I just received it as a gift. Recently I noticed that the monitor keeps on flickering. Sometimes the monitor will turn black and I just need to restart the laptop to get again a picture in the screen. This is quite annoying. Is there any way that you can help me resolve this problem? Can you provide me alternatives ways on how to resolve this issue? What could be causing this issue? I am just using simple MS Word for my job that’s all.

Monitor problems with Asus ZenBook Prime Touch

• First of all, open windows device manager check for any errors in it & fix them.
• Get the latest drivers for your computer’s main devices including the video card.
• Scan the computer for any malware attack.
• Switch to the safe mode and if the issue persists, there can be a software related problem.

If all these steps fail to solve the issue, inverters and capacitors might be wanting a replace. So, it is advisable to seek for technical assistance.
