How to send text of a word document using Lotus Notes

Lotus Notes to send text of a word document. I am using Lotus Notes R5 without Domino Designer, in which I set an agent that sends text to a recipient.  I send out a mail monthly to ask certain data from the previous month.  So if I write a letter on February, I would say, for example, “Please send me the data for January.”  The problem is the month is set as a static text.  How do I set the agent to send the mail for the name of the actual previous month?  Can I create a word file to update the name via VBA and for the agent to get the name from the word file and put it into the message?  Does anybody know an easier way?

Hallo Christopher,

If you need to set the agent in a manner that you will be able to send the email for the name of the actual previous month as opposed to now where you can only send one month that has been set to ne static, then you will need to make changes in the VBA code of the agent.

Access the VBA code of the mail agent that you are using and change the setting for the mails to dynamic so that when you send the text using a word document, you will get the actual previous month. I guess you will just need to edit the module that is holding the static details and change it to dynamic.
