I am constantly using my mobile for internet connection. A few days ago, my problem started. I could not connect to wi-fi no matter what I do. So I re-installed my internet setting which was from IDEA, the network provider.Â
I can see the "Edge" sign but it would not connect. Any advice will be very welcome since I am so lost right now. Thank you!

For those that use Microsoft windows XP service Pack 2, continue (follow) these steps
-
Click in the menu I initiate> to execute and write
-
NCPA.cpl
-
Click in Accepting
-
Click the suitable connection and click in repairing.
-
Step2: to repair Winsock
-
Click in Beginning menu> to Execute, write netsh Winsock reset and, next, click in Accepting
-
The symbol of the system blinks, begin the team (equipment) again.
Or else it can prove (try) this:
-
Click in Beginning,
-
Click in Control panel,
-
Do double click on network connections,
-
Click on the wireless connection and, next, click on properties,
In the picture that he (she) says 'this connection uses the following elements: ', it clicks in Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and, next, it clicks in the button Properties.
Make sure that 'to obtain a direction (leadership) IP automatically' and 'to obtain DNS automatically the direction (leadership) of the servant' are selected.
OK its way out of all the pigeonholes and let's hope that everything will be good after that.

No connection to wi-fi on mobile
Hallo Angelica,
Since you re-installed the settings then you lost the settings that you had configured for you Wi-Fi connection earlier, and therefore you will need reconfigure them one more time.
Just look for Wi-Fi connection settings and configure the IP addresses, the DNS servers and the gateway connections and save them.
They should be probably under applications then general settings or it could be under connection settings on your iphone. So just check. When you are done, save them and restart the phone for the settings to take effect.
Hope this helps.
