Hello,

I was facing a problem where I was exploring Outlook 2010 and message stay indicating me to save an HTML file.

Save  Cancel

This message comes every time from the time you explore Outlook and it will carry on till you end Outlook.

What is this problem?

Facing a problem where I was exploring Outlook 2010

This is caused by what we call People Pane in the Outlook. When you install Microsoft Office, it gets installed by default . You have to disable People Pane to resolve that. First, open Outlook then click view tab. Click People Pane and then select off. After that, close it and restart the outlook. Once you complete these, you will not see that Save File message again.

Hi Katherine T Reilly,

 

 

This problem is strongly related to the default browser you are using (Firefox or Google Chrome).

Try to change the default browser (you may choose internet explorer as default).

After this uninstall the previous default browser you were using while facing an Outlook problem.

Reinstall it, and try to use again as default browser. The problem should not be faced again.

 

Another solution to this is to check the add ins under options in the outlook, at this point Outlook Social Connector should not be checked.
