Installation fails of LANDesk agent

LANDesk agent is not being installed on my computer. I have seen an error message while the installation process was running.

Please help

An error occurred installing the agent. Please check the xtrace log for further details

c:Document~1Admin~1Temp\wsdg32.xlg

Installation fails of LANDesk agent

Hi,

Where there is a problem, there is a solution. So, of course it has a solution. Just do the following and get rid of the problem:

1. Download Microsoft's WMIDiag utility from the link: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=7684

2. Execute the utility on your machine.

3. Now try to install the LANDesk Agent once again.

Problem is gone. Am I right?

They have installation instructions and also the information on the patch. Visit it right away to resolve your query and to find many changes and improvements for your system. Hi

First of all, check the log file indicated and see if you can get a clue of what might be the cause of the error that you are getting.
