I was met in the middle of the addition of a file Adobe Audition when there appeared a picture of message of titles error Shutting Down… To continue the work where it left it, begins Audition again. Click on the button to accept it had closed Audition. When it re-opened Audition, I was received by the following message: Click in continuing now it produces a file called without a title with nothing in it. I know it has kept my file, but I did not do it. How can I recover my audio?

Adobe Audition Crashed How Do I Get My Audio Back?

If you encounter the error with Adobe Audition with the message as “Previous session detected”, there is a very good chance that you can recover your audio file.
Please read and follow this section to recover your audio file. Generally Adobe Audition creates temporary files in Windows for recently updated files. Go to the windows temp folder and browse to folder via {system drive}:Documents and SettingsusernameLocal SettingTemp where {system drive} C: or D: or whichever your main drive is and username is your username.
Switch to view details of the Temp folder. Look for groups of files in Temp folder with name as AudxNNNN.tmp where NNNN is a number something similar to AudxA645.tmp. The file with largest file size modified around time Audition crashed is likely to be one you are looking for.
Make a copy of the file and put copy somewhere at your desktop. You should not use the original .tmp file because you are trying to recover from not having a backup plan.
Click to open Audition and click on Continue Later button on the Previous Session Detected dialog.
Choose File > Open, select PCM Raw Data as Files of Type. Now Enter * at the File Name and click Open to view all available files including your .tmp file.
Choose a sample format that matches the format you have been working during the crash. Choosing incorrect will result in file that is either completely distorted or will sound really bizarre.
Accept default for the PCM Raw Data (no header) screen, unless you remember you were recording using some other method.
Assuming you made the correct selections as per the description, you should now have an audio file with your lost data and any edits you have made prior to the crash, as this temp file is location Audition creates/stores changes so you can undo them.
Save your file, take back up, and get relaxed. You can now edit your file

Adobe Audition Crashed How Do I Get My Audio Back?
Since the previous session exited prematurely and obviously there was a problem, if on starting Adobe Audition you receive this message, in the dialog you should select “Delete” to start a new session. This should give you a fresh start without any errors. See if this works. If this doesn’t work, try to uninstall and reinstall the program.
Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select Adobe Audition among the applications and click “Uninstall.” Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and then delete everything it finds. This will remove everything the program created on your computer.
When it is finished, exit Revo Uninstaller then download the free version of CCleaner and install it. Once installed, start CCleaner and clean your system. After this, exit CCleaner and restart the computer. After booting, install Adobe Audition back and see if it works.
