Unable to login into google on mobile but works on PC

I have this strange issue in my mobile. Mobile is brand new and in order to install market application i need to have a google account but my existing google account is not working in the phone. I do not doubt on the internet because google search works.when i enter google username and password in the account information boxes, it simply says that the username and password do not match. I am quite sure of password but unable to solve this issue. I do not want to open another google account only for this reason

Unable to login into google on mobile but works on PC

If you’ve turned on 2-Step Verification and are trying to sign in to your Google Account through a device, mobile app or desktop app, you’ll need to enter an App Password. You’ll need to create a different App Password for each device or application you’d like to use with your Google Account. For example, if you access your Google Account on both your iPhone and the Picasa desktop application, you’ll need to create an App Password for each. If you’re having trouble using an App Password on your phone:

1. Go to https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?passive=1209600&continue=https%3A%2F%2Faccounts.google.com%2FDisplayUnlockCaptcha&followup=https%3A%2F%2Faccounts.google.com%2FDisplayUnlockCaptcha on your phone's browser.

2. Enter your username and password, then type the letters on the screen.

3. Go back to the application you're trying to access and enter your App Password.
