Having problem with Microsoft Publisher

Hello!
Good day!
I have been sent a mail in Microsoft publisher but I cannot open it, and I have mac newbie and office 2008 I have tried all ways possible but I am defeated. I have tried opening in text edit and with apple works conversion but still in vain.
Someone with a clue please assist.

Having problem with Microsoft Publisher

The big question here is what version of Publisher did you use in the file. It could be 2011 version or 2010 if edited in Microsoft operating system. Also, what kind of office do you have in your computer? Is it Home or Student, because if it does, you need to upgrade to Enterprise or Professional edition.

I don't think there is even a compatibility pack for the Mac Offices so I suggest that you do the above instruction or just stick to what you did to open your PUB file.

You can also try looking for converters online, if your lucky you might find some.
