Can anyone suggest the best possible way?

Hi,

One of my clients wants to use a secondary DR site using only Cisco gear. But the way is unknown to him Can anyone suggest the best possible way? I will be highly thankful if anyone can also suggest me any books regarding this matter.

Hi,

In order to use a secondary DR site using only Cisco gear the data should be duplicated. It can be done synchronously or at regular intervals. Then the data needs to be retrieved and restored whenever needed. All the things needed by the business should be backed up from time to time. Whenever there is a failure, the backed up data can be restored and the applications will be enabled with the restored data.

For study materials, the CCNP switch study material is a very good source of information for HSRP/VRRP/GLBP types.
