Hi all,
I have an external hard drive WD before one week it crashed, I have very important data there.
Since then am trying to recover the data, but before that I had to format the drive so I did, now am using power data recovery after I buy the full version, first I did damaged partition recovery it took like 8 hours after that I did lost partition recovery, it starts in a good way, But keep stopping at some point, after that the power data recovery software stop, and I get a message you have to format your drive. Am really confused, seems I won't be able to restore anything, I hope someone here may help.
Power Data Recovery Stop Working At Same Point
Hello Dear,
The recovery of deleted data or partition is very critical. Your Power Data recovery stops working on same point. It means your hard disk has some bad sectors so that the power data recovery cannot detect data from these sectors and unable to make successful search. You should try to use some bad sector removing utility first.
Or on the other hand, I suggest you to use an other best data recovery software. That will not stop working on any bad sector.
Its name is Ontrack Easy Recovery.
You can download it from this link.

Thanks.
Power Data Recovery Stop Working At Same Point
Hi Jaycelin,
Good Day!
Data recovery procedure is sometimes critical and it will be more critical to recover that data which is formatted. But every thing has a solution. The software which I am going to give you is one of the most sophisticated because it gives 90% result with any obstacle. Try it and reply me if you found it useful or not.

The procedure of using this is same as power recovery software but its efficiency is more than enough.
Thanks.
Power Data Recovery Stop Working At Same Point
If your external hard drive crashed and you need to recover the data in it, what you need to do is fix the problem and not format it. When you formatted the drive, you only made the problem a little worse because the partition where the files are stored had been deleted when you formatted it. Recovering a formatted partition doesn’t usually turn out good.
Try installing PC Tools Performance Toolkit. Once installed, start PC Tools then go to “Recovery” tab and click “Recover Lost Files”. Since the drive was formatted, try selecting “Deep Scan” or “Physical Scan” in the “Scan type” option then select the drive you want to scan. Click “Start Scan” to begin analyzing your hard drive.
