A problem opening mobile video clip 3gp. My mobile phone was Samsung galaxy y and my friend sent a video clip with a 3gp format via Bluetooth. After sending the video clip file, I tap the open button and got some error message about compatibility issues. I hope you can give me some way to open the mobile video clip 3gp. Thank you.

Sad to say Samsung galaxy Y doesn't supports that kind of file type.
Most are MP4 and AVI.
Try converting it in a Video converter that can be downloaded from your PC.

Samsung Galaxy Y does support 3GP video clips. So only problem might be the file got corrupted during transfer. So ask your friend to send that clip again via different method (email or in USB). Then transfer it in your mobile phone. It will work.

Every mobile set can’t open all types of video files and every set has some specific compatibility with specific formats and can open only those files. Same is the problem with Samsung Galaxy Y set and it cannot open 3gp video file because it does not support such kind of formats.

         Sorry to say that, Samsung Galaxy y can't open or play 3gp files because it doesn't support that kind of format. That's why you can't play the file. It failed to play in your phone because it would have been recorded with a different video and audio codec. That might be the problem.
