Help me download Tera Term Pro for 64 bit Windows 7

I have searched online but no solutions were found.

I need a good emulator that supports serial port connections and someone told me Tera Term is the best. Now, can you please guide me on how to download Tera Term Pro for 64bit Windows 7?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also if you can tell me about the scripting language that is built in.

Hello Tony!

For software download, I would recommend the download.com website. It has a pretty large database that helps you with whatever problems you have. You can download from there the Tera Term emulator. The version is free and it works for Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7.

The Tera Term language is pretty complicated to explain, because it's a complex language. It resembles the BASIC language. You can read more about it online and even learn the language.

Hello Tony S Boudreau,

To download Tera Term Pro, head to the project's official website and look for the Download tab. Then scroll down a bit until you find the section where it says "List of release files". Version 4.79 is the most recent to this day so you might want to download that.

As to the scripting language and the software itself, you can find more information in the Tera Term Help Index and MACRO For Tera Term manuals.
