To reinstall windows how long time does it take?
Due to many reasons I cannot tell you the right time. The installation of windows may take time because of your computer’s hardware like RAM, Hard disk, CD-ROM. All these hardware may cause the installation speed of the window.
If these are fast and updated your speed of installation will increase, but if these are old the installation will take time. In addition to this, if you are upgrading window with full version it will take time than a clean installation.
All the existing data in the existing operating system use by the Upgrades, it does not replace all files.
Thanks

It usually takes between 30 minutes to 2 hours including installation of all the necessary drivers to get the computer up and running with no errors in the Device Manager. The size of the partition to format will be a factor since the bigger the partition, the longer the formatting will take.
Overall system speed will affect how fast the process will be completed. If you will be reinstalling Windows from an image, like let's say you created an image of a previous installation, this would be much faster as you don't have to go through the configuration steps, the image will just have to be loaded on to the system and after booting up all the settings and customizations are already in place.
