My problem is about Kaspersky Antivirus Software

Hello,

My problem is about Kaspersky Antivirus Software. Recently I have installed that in my pc. I have used original CD, license key. But when it tries to update, the error message displays as   “updating Kaspersky Rescue Disk image (could not download Kaspersky Rescue Disk database from the Internet.

Probably either network connection may be missed or there is low space on hard drive). Solutions available, do you want to continue without update?”

This message is shown every time.

Help me please.

Hi,

You installed Kaspersky Antivirus Software recently using original CD with license key. While updating you see the error message. I think there is no problem with your Kaspersky Antivirus Software but there is something resists updating your software.

You can check it carefully. Look into Windows Firewall and other defender applications and set their performance there. Check Windows Automatic Update. If you have any other Antivirus software running on your PC may also resist the event.

You should make sure about the low disk space. Check that internet connection of your PC is ok. Now manually try to update it.

Hi,

I think this is the error message that you got.

If so, please follow the following steps:

1. Click "No" on the above dialog box

2. Make sure that you are connected to the internet. You can check this by opening your browser and type some website for example www.google.com

3. Check whether you have enough space on your hard disk. If not create space by deleting unwanted files.

4. Make sure there are no other anti viruses installed on your computer.

5. After installing Kaspersky Antivirus, the first thing you need to do is click on "Update" button.

6. You can create a rescue disk only after the update process is finished. S, do not interrupt the update process. The first update may take some time so be patient.

Hope your problem gets fixed.
