I am using Windows 97. I need to disable IPv6 group policy is there any way to do the same. Please provide with steps will be more useful

Can I Disable ipv6 Group Policy In Windows?

You may follow the steps to disable ipv6 group policy

Step 1: Download the IPv6ConfigirationFile from the given link

http://www2.expta.com/IPv6Configuration.zip

Step 2: Extract the file and copy the given files into the C:/Windows or %systemroot% folder. You may have to provide administration permissions.

Step 3: Open Run dialog by pressing Ctrl+R and type “gpmc.msc” to open group management policy console.

Step 4: Double-click Default Domain Policy and click Edit.

Step 5: Select Computer Configuration–>Policies–>Administrative Templates–>Network–>IPv6 Configuration.

Step 6: In the settings tab, Select Disabled and click on the OK button.

The group policy will be changed.
