Installation of avast msn Plugin?

Hi Experts,

I recently installed Avast MSN plug-in. I need to customize the plug-in to suit my needs. Can this be possible. How to customize MSN plug-in without affecting Avast premium. Do I need to log into MSN account to do this? Thanks.

Installation of avast msn Plugin?

 

Dear Jafet,

The Avast MSN plug-in is basically for use in scanning files that are transferred via MSN messenger. You can use the Avast's virus scan on those files to ensure that viruses don't get transferred into your PC when transferring any files from your contacts on MSN. The "Quick Scan" by avast is to be used for scanning incoming files.

Locate the ashQuick executable file in the avast folder in your program files when browsing to set the program to be used for scanning files. Of course, you will be logged in to MSN when using this service. Offline you can use avast to scan any file regularly.
