Package creator error: registration of uninstallation failed

Hello,

I am having problem with Package creator. When I tried to uninstall this I got the following error message.

Registration of uninstallation failed

The Registration of uninstallation failed. Contact the package vendor for manual unregistration.

Have anyone else here have seen faced the same problem?

Please tell me, how to solve this.

Package creator error: registration of uninstallation failed

Hallo Quincy,

To resolve the issue you are getting when uninstalling Package Creator you will need to do the following:

• The issue you are getting is possibly with  .NET 3.5 SP1 on your computer.
• You will need to run the following command: setup.exe DisableProducts=DOTNETFX_351 at the command prompt. To access the command prompt click on Start, and then type Run in the search box. In the window that will open type Cmd and press Enter.
• After that you will need to download .NET 3.5 SP1 from Microsoft and then install it separately or you can as well run into application issues.
