Quicken unexpected error code 7970

I have been using Quicken for some months already and now I tried to update it, at first it is working fine but after some minutes this error appears and close quicken. What’s the problem?

Quicken unexpected error code 7970

Hi there,

Quicken mostly got an error because of various anti virus programs and firewalls preventing it to be launched, mostly installation also do not fix it, try checking list of blocked programs in firewall lists.

 

There is another reason for this error and that reason is the execution of a background agent known as " 'bagent.exe ", try stopping its execution and quicken will launch year easily.

 

When you receive this error, hit 'Close the Program' and then open task manager and kill the process called 'bagent.exe' which is the Quicken Background Agent. Then Quicken opens up without a problem.
