Director Player pop-up error message

Hey everyone, Has anyone had a problem with the Director Player while trying to add a movie?

A pop-up error message goes like this:

Director Player Error

Property not found

#player

Script Error. Continue?.

This keeps happening with most of the movie files I was working on so I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me advice on how to fix this.

Director Player pop-up error message

Howdy Esmeu,

How are you doing right now? I hope you are okay. First, you need to uninstall the player. Go to control panel and then choose add remove program and remove the player. Next is install the latest version which is compatible on your operating system.

Go to search and type tycoon

Make sure that you do not have hidden files

Delete corrupted files

Click show hidden files

You can now successfully download and install the latest version and I can assure you that it will run smoothly with no error upon using it. Good luck! Have a good day.

Director Player pop-up error message

Hi,

I think this might be a software error. It seems this error is a direct Shockwave error. One of your plug-ins might have corrupted. This error could be sorted out by uninstalling the Adobe Shockwave Player and then download the latest version of the Adobe Shockwave Player from the below link and re-installing it.

Also there might be some other reasons if the above re-installing also not working properly. If your firewall program is blocking the functioning of the shockwave software in some way then of course this script error might occur. To check if that is the reason temporary stop your firewall and check.

If still you are getting this same error we can suspect you might be having some spyware installed. In that case you may scan the pc with adware or spyware scanner like SpyBot or Spyware.
