SAS System v.6.1. download error

Hey, I’m having trouble downloading the SAS System v. 6.1. I’ve already tried with the support but got no answer there and since the only options are to stop or exit the download (retry doesn’t work either) I have no idea how to fix this.

The error is this:

Download Interrupted

SAS has encountered an error downloading your order.

This is most likely the result of incorrect order information and can only be solved by contacting SAS Technical Support.

Refer to the Software Order E-mail for contact information.

Please Click “Retry” when SAS has corrected the problem,

Or “Stop Download and Exit” to terminate the Download Manager.

The download can be resumed when you restart the Download Manager.

I’ve already wasted enough time so please post any solutions you’ve got.

SAS System v.6.1. download error

Hi Darcy Stuart,

    To fix your problem regarding the error you have had encountered in installing SAS System version 6.1, you should first manually download. Net.Framework 1.1 which is included in the system requirements.  Or you could just installed it from Microsoft EG 4.1 that is compatible with the Net 1.1.

    The Windows 7 you configured for Microsoft EG 4.1 wasn't supported by the SAS. And  if problem still do exist, update your media to the latest to have it compatible for the SAS.  But if you are currently in the latest media what you must do is to refresh the order of the software.
