My computer has a Pioneer 1.6 for DVD.
I am using DVD Decrypter and all was fine, but one time I came to an error, I have no clue what this error all about, so I update my pioneer to 1.18 but the error still there, is it error to my DVD?
Can you please help me?

DVD Decrypter I/O Error message
From the error message that you posted, it seems that there’s some communication problem between the computer and your optical drive.
Try reseating your optical drive’s data cable and power cable and make sure everything is properly seated. Try using the software again, if you’re still having problems, try using an optical drive lens cleaners and have it clean the optical drive’s lens. Also make sure that the media that you’re using is clean and readable.
Try and check if the software has a more updated version or if there’s a patch available on the software’s website.
Try using a known working optical drive and see if it works in your system, if it does, you need to replace your optical drive.
DVD Decrypter I/O Error message
If your Pioneer DVD drive is a DVD writer where you can use it to burn CDs and DVDs and create other data discs, the first thing to check is the optical drive’s connectivity. This error is sometimes caused by a loose connection inside the CPU. To verify if it is a loose connection, shut down Windows and open the CPU case.
Unplug both the ribbon cable and the power supply cable from the optical drive. Also check if the jumper setting of the drive is configured properly like if it is set to master, slave, cable select, or park. Setting the jumper to cable select will make the drive depend to where it is attached in the ribbon cable.
Setting it to park will simply disconnect the drive even if it is connected to the computer. After verifying the jumper setting, attach the cables again to the drive then start the computer. Start the program again where the error occurred then see if it happens again. You may also use other CD burning tool for your DVD drive besides ImgBurn.
