My MSI Afterburner has encountered a serious problem

Hi Experts,

My MSI Afterburner has encountered a serious problem. It has stopped running throwing the error message asunder. I uninstalled MSI and installed it again. However, the same error message remains unchanged. If you have any idea for the issue, please help.

Hello Martin,

Have you tried installing the latest version, because it seems like you are using a beta version and it may not work well because of the bugs in it. You will therefore need to go to the official page for that app and the get the proper latest version and then install it.

My MSI Afterburner has encountered a serious problem

Well you can try this :

1. Download and install all updates and device drivers for your computer from Windows Update for the GPU that you are using. Heres an article for you how you can update your GPU driver.

2. Scan your computer for viruses.

3. Check your hard disk for errors.

You can use registry cleaner, download it from here

4. Get a better cooling system for your GPU in case you have done some over clocking.
