I had this problem once. I have some suggestions for you. Try these:

1. Reinstall the software then try to start.

2. If your RAM is low the try to keep you RAM free during starting the software.

3. Keep your antivirus update. If any file is deleted from the software folder by the antivirus then restore the file.

4. If these do not work then you can check the registry by any kind of utility software.

5. If it is still not working then you should download the software and then install again.

6. If it's still not working then you should restore windows.

Hello Carly williams,

Don’t worry. Your windows media player, Skype and Firefox are not working properly with your operating system, I think, or, maybe there are missing file of your software. Please update all of this. I think, this will fix this issue. Otherwise, you need to reinstall your operating system. Always try to keep the upgraded software.

Best of luck.

Crashing of applications are one of the most difficult issues since it is very hard to determine what is really the cause of the issue. Check on the following workarounds:

1. Try to scan your computer for viruses. This is the most common reason why application often crashes. Eliminate viruses if there is any.

2. Re-install the software that usually crashes. Sometimes the software becomes corrupted because of many reasons. Just go to the manufacturer's website and then download the same application again.

3. Download and install debugging tools on Microsoft. You can use this to debug drivers, software and services on your Windows. Click on the link to get the tool:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/debugger/index

4. Check for the software compatibility. Does the software meets the system requirements when you installed it?

5. Are there any other programs that is having conflicts on the programs that usually crashes?
