When a user types to initiate a new virtual machines on a Microsoft server even after hyper v role has been installed we often come across an error message saying virtual machine could not be started because hypervisor is not running?

Hyper vs Issues Initiating New Virtual Machines On Microsoft Servers

Even if hypervisor is running often hardware virtualization extension or data execution prevention (DEP), have not been enabled within the server BIOS settings. Virtualization extensions or data execution prevention remains at default off for many servers. Enabling them manually and powering down the server or the system in which the server rather than restarting would solve this issue generally.
