Hi. I had rebooted my computer few days earlier and now it is stuck on sbs 2008 applying computer settings. I have also tried solving the issue by disabling the safe mode but it is still not working fine. However, it opens up and works fine in safe mode. I have tried each and everything possible to solve the issue but it is still persisting. Can you help? What is the possible cause?

Hi. I think the issue is due to error in the registry hive somewhere. It may also be due to a deadlock in the Database of the Service Control Manager. It may be because the Dell sold SBS by mistake in place of server 2008. To solve the error you can try the below given steps:

1) Go to HKLM>Current Control Set>Services>HTTP and then construct multi-string value as- Depend On Service

2) Then, click twice on the value string just created by you

3) In the value field, enter CRYPTSVC and select OK

4) Reboot the server and it will start working properly again

Hope we helped.
