Hello,
I have an Intel (R) Core (TM) Quad CPU Q9450 @ 2.66 GHz. Installed RAM is 2 GB DDR3. Operating System 32-bit windows vista.
Recently i have downloaded a game 'Age of Conan' and started playing it. My computer keeps freezing at different points of the game much to my annoyance!
Do you think it's because of low RAM or something else. By the way my motherboard is manufactured by Gigabyte.

Computer Crashes While Playing Age of Conan
Are you using your motherboard integrated graphics card or do you have a discrete graphics card? If you only use the integrated graphics card, then most likely it can't handle the game making the game less than playable and makes it freeze. Check the game's system requirements and most likely it would list a discrete graphics card in it.Â
You also have just enough memory on your system. Windows Vista has been known to be a resource hungry operating system. You barely have enough memory to run the operating system and your background applications and run a recent game which is expected to be resource hungry as well. Upgrade your graphics card and memory.
Computer Crashes While Playing Age of Conan
Hello Rohith Meneni,
Yes, I think the RAM capacity you have could be one possible cause of your age of Conan game freezing all the time when you are playing it. Usually the best RAM capacity when it comes to gaming is about 4 GB RAM and more, since games usually take up a lot of memory space when being executed and therefore it is possible that your computer is running out memory when you are playing age of Conan and thus resulting to freezing.
You might therefore consider upgrading your 2 GB RAM memory to about GB or even 6 GB to get the best out of your computer when using it for gaming.
Hope this helps.
