Set up 3G Broadband with Ubuntu 11.10
I just purchased a 3G Broadband from Cricket.
I used it on my Windows PC but I am planning to use it now with Ubuntu 11.10.
But I don’t know much about the setup.
Can someone please help me?
Thank you.

Hello Joshua Moore
You want to install 3G broadband on your ubuntu 11.10 operating system right? Actually, there’s a problem regarding in installation of 3G broadband on this version of operating system it has a bug.
But don't worry in this case ubuntu already fixed the bug. And now i will teach you how to setup and how to fix the bug so that your 3G broadband will work properly.
Heres the steps:
1. Plug in your 3G broadband kit where you want to setup.
2. The auto run will pop-up and follow the setup command for the installation.
3. When its done change the network manager “Ubuntu” status – new – confirmed
4. After you change the network status, if its still not working just unplug it then plug it back.
Hope it really helps you.
