I just re-installed Windows 7 together with iTunes. Since then, whenever I attempt to sync my iPhone via iTunes, the syncing process does not start automatically. I cannot even drag or copy songs, photos and all my files from iTunes. Everything is working well before re-installing Windows 7. How can I restore and go back to my old settings before the installation? How can I fix it?

Unable to sync iPhone automatically after changing OS
Hello Mia Barker,
Is it the same version that you are using before that you have just installed, because if it is different, it may require that you get a different versions of iTunes that is supported by it.
Also try uninstalling the iTunes and then installing it again, because there could have been a problem that caused iTunes not to install properly and therefore causing you to receive the errors that you are having now. Once you have done the reinstallation, try syncing with it and see if it works fine.
Hope this helps.

Unable to sync iPhone automatically after changing OS
Dear Mia,
I think your iTunes device is turned off on your PC.
What you need to do is to turn on to connect to your iPhone.
Follow these steps to do it –
1. Go to run,
2. Type services,
3. Click on iTunes and it should turn on. Â
When you install a new operating system and iTunes, you need to instruct your iTunes to turn on as it is not turned on by default. Next time when you will connect to iTunes, it will be turned on automatically.
I hope this shall work for you.
