Force Group Policy update cmd: Commands and Parameters.

The GPUpdate command refreshes local and active directory on the Group Policy and security settings on the computer from where it run. Windows XP and higher computers can use this. Some of the Force Group Policy update commands are

1. Target: It tells whose settings need to be process, computer or user.

Syntax: Gpupdate [/target:{computer|user}]

2. Force: It reprocesses the information.

Syntax: Gpupdate [/force]

3. Boot: It restarts the computer.

Syntax: Gpupdate [/boot]
