It looks like you want to develop a secondary DR site with CISCO gear. CCNP switch materials are an excellent support for configuration types like HSRP, VRRP or GLBP.

HSRP works very fine but as an option you can choose GLBP, as it actively forwards and balances data through the unutilized links rather than waiting for the primary link to be occupied or failed. You can visit the following link for more information
