Steps on securing FTP Server

I tell you that how to secure an FTP server in Microsoft Server 2003. Please follow the points…

1. Click on START
2. Go to Administrative Tools and click it
3. See for IIS Manager and left click it
4. In the console tree, expand (click on sign ‘+’) your Server_Name
5. Click for expansion of FTP sites (click on sign ‘+’)
6. Reach on Properties by right clicking on the FTP site.
7. Open FTP site tab
8. See FTP site connections and click Connections Limited, and write a maximum of connections [all connections will simultaneously permit by the server for operation.
9. Open the Connection Time-out dialogue box, and specify the page session time-out which means that ‘after this specific time the inactive user would be logged off automatically’.
10. Close your Internet Information Server [IIS]
