How to bypass nokia’s n8 firewall?

Hello Experts,

Last month i got my n8 Nokia phone. And I just want to know and curious about bypassing its firewall, is it possible? Or do you have any idea about this issue? I want to know. Need your assistance.

How to bypass nokia’s n8 firewall?

Hello Chet,

I suppose it is possible for you to bypass the firewall on your Nokia N8 either by using a third party application or by just altering the settings on the phone. Try the following:

• On your phone, you will need to go to Tools >> Settings >> Connection and then SIP settings.
• After that you will select Options >> New SIP Profile and then create the following profile;
• Profile Name: VoIPVoIP Service, Profile: IETF Default, Access point: (your WLAN AP name)
• Configure the other settings appropriately and then save the changes.
