Need to know about sensor network snmp

I am going to use as sensor network snmp. I need to know if it allows filtering traffic and differentiation the bandwidth usage by protocol or IPs? Also I need to do the monitoring of network parameters which are other than bandwidth usage. Will snmp help me in that?

Hello Oncox,

Network SNMP sensors is a good sensor for monitoring works. It has the capacity to monitor other network parameters such as CPU loads, temperatures, the usage of disk, and it can monitor many other readings. Also it can monitor a huge networks with several hundreds and thousands of sensors. The bandwidth usage of routers and switches on a port by port basis and other device readings such as memory and cpu load will be monitor by SNMP.
