Could some one give me a list of spreadsheets programs publishers?

At times I lag behind in information. All along I knew Microsoft Excel as the only spreadsheet that can be seriously used for big projects. However, I came to realize that there are several others out there. This triggered me to start carrying out a research into the many publishers who have been doing the noble job. Kindly share with me some of the spreadsheet programs publishers and any further information that you might find relevant.

Good thinking for research. When I searched on google for the spreadsheet program's publishers,

I have found a list in Wikipedia. I think this list will help you a lot.

And also found a 2013 Spreadsheet Software Review Product Comparisons.

I think you don’t need anything else for this matter.

There are several free alternatives to Excel, but two of them are the best. Each has its own advantages:

1. Google Spreadsheets is completely on the "cloud", which means that you need a constant Internet connection to use it. The advantage of this approach is that you don't need to manually backup and update your files. "Gadgets" further expand the feature set and, surprisingly enough, there is no need to be logged in a Google account to access Google Spreadsheets.

2. Open Office's "Calc" is the ideal solution for a small business, since it spares you the cost of Office licenses while still having high compatibility with Microsoft products.
