I need to make the Naver line app backup and same for chat history in Viber. I know one way is to install the Titanium backup, however, I have no rooted Galaxy S2 and I don’t want it because I wish to have my phone on warranty and it can be just when no clearing the Rom or anything done. I have heartd there is the possibility to backup whatsapp, but how about the rest? Moreover, I have saved everything in the phone’s memory. If I will reinstall, it will get back? I can’t understand what to do, help me!

Hello Annelforth,

There are ways to backup the chat history both in Naver line app and Viber but only for rooted device.

Unfortunately the option is not available yet.

As you have mentioned you don’t want to root your Galaxy S2 so you have to wait until they release any applications for unrooted device. But if you root your device then you can check on TechGravy site, there you will find the way to backup your chat history for naver line app.

Hi Annelforth,

As far as Never line backup for apps and chat history is concerned, it’s a must that your phone is rooted: Now since you don’t want this due to warranty issues. You should go with LINE.   

For Android line is offering a new software, it can import and backup your chat history including Pictures.   

If you have saved your data in your memory card then yes you can easily recover it any time you want.
