Hi Guyz,
I recently bought a used asus motherboard from one of my friends and installed it into my CPU. After i completed this when i pressed the power button it successfully worked, however when i tried switching the computer on after another hour it did not turn on. This happens on a very regular basis, sometimes it works where as at other times it does not turn on.
Thank you for your help.

Problems with ASUS motherboard on and off
Hi,
Why did you buy a second hand motherboard? This is just a common errors of the old motherboard. It will take time to turn on and off.
Why? The parts are already overused/overheated it will not function properly. Even if you .clean the motherboard for as long as it's an old motherboard then the problem still there.
I suggest you replace your old motherboard to new motherboard, if there is no available then you have to upgrade your computer then change all of your parts in order to not encountering this problem again.
It's very impossible to troubleshoot your motherboard piece by piece or IC by IC so instead of doing that you better replace it with the new one or if the motherboard is not available or obsolete then upgrade your computer.
Thanks,
Tony Stevenson
