Problem uninstalling DAEMON tools lite

Hello,

I have a daemon tools lite software installed but I cannot uninstall it nor do I know its implication. Whenever I try to uninstall it a message shows that daemon tool lite is running in another application. I could not find out where is it open. Please help me uninstall this software.

Problem uninstalling DAEMON tools lite

Hey Benjamin!

The problem you have discussed above, sounds like your daemon toll is running in the background, that’s why whenever you click on uninstall Daemon tool, the computer prompts that this program is used by another application.

What you need to do is, before uninstalling the Daemon toll, make sure that it is not being used by any other program.

Press Alt+Ctrl+Delete. This will open Task Manager, Now find the Daemon toll here, Select it and click on End Process.

Now go to Control panel > Add/Remove Program and try to uninstall the Daemon toll.

Now you will not face that error anymore
