I want to secure my network. If I don't then my neighbours can use it and they can also have access to my documents. How to create a secure network?

How to create a secure network- Procedure to do it.

 It is very important to secure your network because if you don't then your neighbours can use your internet connection as well as can have access to your files, documents, and folder.

Step 1: Go to finder and then Applications and then run Terminal and then Utilities.

Step 2: Enter 'ipconfig -a' after opening of the terminal window and then press Enter.

Step 3: Find the sentence having Gateway and note the number following it.

Step 4: Type Gateway IP Address after opening of the Safari and hit enter.

Step 5: On your access point, enable encryption.

Step 6: Make a router access password. Don't make it a simple one, otherwise anybody can guess it.

Step 7: From the default change the Service Set Identifier to something unique.

Step 8: Allow Mac Address Filtering.

Step 9: Do allow Remote login and wireless administrating.
