Hi,

The last day I received this unexpected error message while installing the Apple Jam Packs. I have spent many hours fixing it but could not resolve this problem. Can you suggest me the proper way or a solution to fix this error?

Alert title shows unexpected error message

Hi Michael,

This could be happening due to a faulty installation. Most of your Garageband files should be in 'user/Library/Application Support/Garageband', but sometimes the installer will put the files in the system Library (example in the location Mac Mini/Library/Application Support/Garageband), not the user one. If this is the case with you, you will have to move the files (only the sampler and files for instruments) from the system Library to your User Library.
