“Complete packaged” computers have been released by various computer manufacturers for some months now, to get rid of all desktop computers in North America. A number of computer manufacturers are adding all sorts of components and elements to try and be on the top of the Apple iMac. No matter how hard the manufacturers try, they can never seem to pass the iMac. And now, apple has produced something better than before: the 27-inch iMac. The iMac is bundled with the magic mouse, which is like a laptop’s touch pad but with no buttons and looks like a small spaceship. Most of the area on top of the mouse is touch-sensitive. Using top side of the mouse with your finger, you can scroll around. You can also scroll around screens using iPhoto or safari by swiping from left to right with two fingers. To zoom, just press the control key and scroll with one finger.

One would some adapting to get used to the new Magic Mouse. However, once it has already been used for a number of times, you can see that it is more preferable than the regular mouse. This has been an innovation by Apple to making new mouse models for the people.
Speaking of a new feature, the Magic Mouse, apple also has something new to be released with the new iMac, it called the Magic Track pad. It takes the old traditional touch pad to a whole new level. It’s bigger and compatible with other PCs. You have to pay an addition al $69 for it though.
Together with the free Magic Mouse is the wireless Bluetooth keyboard. It is only ¾ of the size of a regular keyboard (the numeric keypad was eliminated) and is nearly flat. In spite of the miniscule body, it isn’t difficult to type on. The keyboard is also designed like all other apple products with “Chiclets” like keys slightly rising from the body.
The new iMac also has a built-in camera, called iSight that is embedded on top of the screen. It produces crisp images, even in low lighting. You will have to pay additional $19 for its remote control, which is as thin as the super thin iPod.
Because this is the latest version produced by Apple, the processor used would blow others away. It scored 12,776 on the CPU test. This was twice as much as the previous version’s score. For the iTunes test, the latest version scored a 10 second lead from the previous version. With this, you can really tell what model to purchase in order to enjoy the best out of it.

One of the major improvements done is the change in video card. It uses an ATI Radon HD 5750, which is paired with 1GB of discrete memory, a huge improvement from the previous version. This makes gaming and movie viewing the best.
Along with the package is the Mac OS X Snow Leopard (version 10.6) as the operating system of the iMac. With it is the iLife ’09 which offers consumption and creation of media. The product set also has a 1-year limited warranty and 90-day toll-free telephone support assistance. The Apple Care warrant may also cover the package for two additional years for $169.
