Requirements sufficient for data sharing
I am using Windows XP Pro with 256 MB RAM Pentium 4 2.4GHz . Will it be sufficient to run 4 to 5 computers for data sharing and printer sharing . This is for home use only.

For sure it will be possible to run even more that 5 computers for data sharing with the computer that you have, although 256MB RAM may be a bit too low memory for a computer to operate on, and therefore you will need to upgrade it. I will consider your comments. As my processor accepts only 256MB RAM only. It is better to store in the external hard disk and then transfer it to the other system. Thanks for your kind answer.

You can share data on a network for at least ten computers with only a Pentium II computer with 128 MB of RAM.
You have an XP Pro computer with 256 MB of RAM, so you can share data to more than 10 computers easily. In fact, there are no special requirements to share data on the network.
You can also send and receive data on the Pentium I computer, so you do not need to worry about it. Just share your data with others. Thanks.
