Some days back I downloaded paint.net on my computer system. However, to download paint.net, it was required for me to download framework 2.0 first. I am done with my job, therefore I wished to install paint.net.
For this purpose, I uninstalled .net framework 2.0 first and then tried to uninstall paint.net.
However this process popped an error on my screen which reads as:Â
There is a problem with the windows Installer Package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. I would be really obliged if someone would be kind enough to suggest a solution of my problem.Â
I would look forward to your kind replies.Â

Problem with Uninstalling Paint .NET
My dear,
I think this is a computer programming problem. You can completely restore your computer. If you don't know how to do it, then follow these steps:
Click on the Computer Start button > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
Then, you will be able to set up your software.
Thank you.
Problem with Uninstalling Paint .NET
Hi Adams Baker,
You need to uninstall first the paint before the .net software, try to use system restore to bring back the software that you uninstalled and you may start from the beginning. Or you maybe accidentally erase some important files in the system. You may also use registry cleaner to clean up your registry.Â
Problem with Uninstalling Paint .NET
Hi Adams,
Install framework 2.0 again and then check if it's working fine. After successful installation then uninstall paint.net. I am sure you will get rid of your problem.
Thanks.
