Hi techyv Experts,

I am looking help to fix the Error Code – 10 using Exchange 2007 with the Outlook 2007. The error message is ‘Problem with the server’s security certificate. Security certificate name is invalid. So, Outlook cannot connect to proxy server. Please provide me step by step guidance to solve the problem.

You should make sure that the common name that you are using is your primary name that is used.  For some other services like the EAS/OA/OWA and others they can hang under there. You will also need to make sure that the subject alternative names that you are using are other names you want to include in your certificate, and by doing that you will save yourself the trouble of having multiple certificates, but you can instead have one with all the names you want.

The above procedure looks ok, apart from the autodiscovername that is being used. It should be autodiscover.smtpdomain.com where the smptdomain will be your email domain for instance [email protected].
