Hello! My update just showed me this message. What could have gone wrong with it? I just updated it after I found out that there is an update available. Are their problems with the update?

Run disk Utility to change the permission of program

Check the folder’s permission for Microsoft Office, it should be as follows. User: Read & Write; admin: Read & Write and Everyone: Read Only. If there is different, make changes to it and press OK to finish.

If you still experience problem after update installation

You can shut down your computer and wait a little bit longer, it might do solve the problem.
Beside the step above, you also can try to uninstall and fresh install the MS office. Good luck

MS office 2008 sometime has that issue. It shows error on update. On my opinion, MS office 2007 is one of the best MS Office systems. You can try it.

Verified MS Office folder's permissions are set as follows: User: Read & Write; admin: Read & Write and Everyone: Read Only. Permissions should be the same for all contents of that folder. All was OK there.
