Revit 2013 – Installation failure

Hello friends,

I have been trying to install Autodesk Revit but I am experiencing some issues.

I have tried to install both the versions 2012 and 2013 and also uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables. I updated .NET. I did not face any problems downloading or entering product keys.

Unfortunately, the installation stops and ends up in an error, the error 1712.

The screenshot is attached below:

the error 1712

Autodesk Revit Architecture 2012

1: 52: adlmPITSetProductlnformation failed. 3: 2

OK

uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables error

Error 1712.One or more of the files required to restore your computer to its previous state could not be found. Restoration will not be possible.

OK

Then I decided to delete all the things related to Revit or Autocad except the Inventor. Now I am getting another error on my screen. The screenshot of the error is attached below:

internal error 2337.0

Internal Error 2337.0, Autodesk.REX.Framework.dII

OK

Anyone has any idea what does this error code means and how can it be fixed?

I am looking forward to your suggestions.

Kindest regards.

Hi Adams Baker,

Thanks for sharing your problem with us, the most common cause of this error is an issue with the .NET Framework. Please follow the following steps to solve your problem:

1. Download the most recent .NET Framework from the Microsoft's website and save it on your computer.

2. Open the folder that you downloaded in previous step. And double click on dotNetFx35setup.exe. Follow the instruction and do not change the default option.

3. Restart your computer.

4. Run the error-causing program. If Internal Error 2337 no longer appears, you have solved the problem and can stop here. If the error message still exists, you need to uninstall the software generating the error.

5. Go to control panel. And choose programs if you are using window 7.

6. Uninstall the program that is experiencing the Internal Error 2337.

7. Request replacement software disk from the manufacturer and reinstall the program.

I hope this will solve your problem.

Thanks.
