Here are several of the features that Microsoft Office 2010 offers.
Universal ribbon – the ribbon interface is now included in every Microsoft Office application that was first made available in some of the applications included in Microsoft Office 2007. Adding this interface in the applications was a creative leap and soon after it arrived the first art critic was born. The critics trashed the ribbon interface.
Customizable ribbon – many office users never adjusted their applications’ toolbars while there are also those that have modified it more considerably. Having a customizable ribbon on your applications, you will be able to regroup different tools. Administrators can also create and distribute customized ribbons to users for a more adaptable approach.
Backstage view – the Office Button that was introduced in Microsoft Office 2007 that looks like an orb was now replaced by the new File button. It gives you access to the usual Open, Save, Save As, and also Close operations. It also allows you to customize the properties of the document, check for any incompatibility problems, handle versions, and even scrub the document for any hidden metadata that you can use for sharing.
