When I switch to cloud, what will now happen with data center?

I have lot of questions regarding adopting cloud solutions. Please do go over my questions and if possible answer all of them. I really need answers to these questions. When I switch to cloud, what will now happen with the data center? What businesses, type of work, load on work would be most suitable or compatible with cloud? Do you see a trend wherein all cloud would be the solution for all the workloads?

Wouldn't it be costly if you run the workloads all day with cloud? Do you also see a trend with ISVS shifting to cloud?

You can switch to the cloud computing technology any time, as long as you are ready to benefit from the advantages that it offers. As for the type of business that you will require to use cloud computing it does not matter whether it is a small scale business or a large scale business, both of them will use cloud technology perfectly well. As your small business expands towards a larger business, you can expand the space that you have on the cloud so as to accommodate the data that will be added.

Cloud computing will not be costly for workloads in my view because you are paying for only that space that you are using on the cloud, and therefore cheaper as compared to paying every individual involved in maintenance of data in an organization.
