Software: Corel/Ulead DVD Factory 6 After completing menus and such. If transcoding the "movies" with the same encoded codec should normally provide an average quality when pushing about 3 hours of video to a 4.7g DVD. Why does the 1st video have less degradation than the second if the same encoding process was used? And is there a correction for that since the software only uses the standard codecs to write with?
Ulead DVD Factory Transcoding error?
Hi,
While working with MovieFactory, you will need to make sure that you have closed all applications running including the anti-virus.
Also remove Screen Savers or Wallpapers, and make sure that you defrag regularly. You may be having enough computer memory is but you will still need a good buffering method to improve your computer's performance.

Ulead DVD Factory Transcoding error?
Hello,
Movie factory 6 is quite outdated and doesn't have the proper support for the new codecs that are available now. So it will try to encode the video but the results will be unpredictable. I would rather upgrade to Movie factory 7 and you will not have these issues.
Another alternative is a free program called freemake.
