Where to download free VoIP software to call any location?

Hi. I would like to try the VoIP. Is there any site where I can download it free and can you please help me how to use it step by step? And what are the tools needed for this? Do I need to have a Avaya phone?

There are several free sites where you can download VoIP, just to mention a few; You can use any phone which has features of voice over IP, works like Skype or Google voice e.g. Android, iphones etc.  VoIP phones can be soft phones (simple software phones) or hardware built that look like ordinary phones or cordless

Hi! With our generation now, there are a lot of VOIP in the world. I can totally give you one of them. I have been using this for the past 4 years of my professional career. Also you don’t need any phone. All you need is a computer. There is this Sip phone that will act as a phone for clients to call and use VOIP.
