MATSWiz.exe – System Error as .dll file is missing

Hi

My problem is that whenever I run Mats_Run.Codec, an error pops up and says “MATSWiz.exe – System Error".

The program cannot start because its .dll is missing from my computer. I tried reinstalling the program to fix this problem. Like the error says I re-downloaded the software and then tried to run it but still it gives me the same error. I am currently using Windows 7 Professional 32bit. My computer is Mecer Xpression TW7M with an Intel Chipset “Intel 965 Express Chipset Family”; Ram memory 2GB. MATSWiz.exe – System Error as .dll file is missing

Hi,

You can try two solution methods here to solve this problem. First is to run the System File Checker [SFC] to repair corrupt system files.

For this follow these steps:

1. Run an command prompt as administrator. i. e. type CMD in the search box at start menu, right click on the cmd.exe and click run as administrator.
2. In the command prompt, type sfc /scannow and press enter.

 Second is to try this:

1. End all processes named MATSWiz.exe from the Processes tab on task manager.
2. Uninstall and reinstall the software and see if the issue is solved.

Hi ,

TIP 1:

You may run System File Checker [SFC] scan on the computer which will replace the missing or corrupt files & check if the issue persists.

• Type ‘CMD’ in the Start Search box. Right click on CMD in the Program list and then select the option Run as administrator.
•  Type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow

TIP 2:

If ‘TIP 1’ doesn’t help, you may try to remove MATSWiz.exe manually by following these steps.

Delete all MATSWiz.exe processes from Task manager.

1. Right-click the Windows taskbar and choose Task Manager.
2. Click the Processes tab.
3. Scroll down and locate any entries for "MATSWiz.exe".
4. On each MATSWiz.exe entry, click to select the entry and then click the End Process button.
5. In the Task Manager Warning, click Yes to confirm. 
6. When there is no more MATSWiz.exe processes listed, close the Task Manager and try to install the software.
